Govt working with S'pore to handle influx of M'sians returning home after island republic lockdown

The government may require employers in Singapore to report how many Malaysian workers wish to return home as the island republic begins imposing circuit-breaker measures to break the Covid-19 chain of transmission, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Senior Minister said he understood that Singapore could not stop Malaysians from returning home to Johor Baru.
Ismail Sabri said the issue arose because both countries had different standard operating procedures to curb the spread of the disease.
