Grand Tamil New Year, Vaisakhi and Vishu await communities

After low-key celebrations for two years due to strict Covid-19 standard operating procedure, the Tamil, Sikh and Malayalee communities in the country are set to usher in their respective major festivals in grand fashion on Thursday and Friday.
At the Gurdwara Sahib Petaling Jaya Sikh Temple Thursday morning, Sikhs celebrated Vaisakhi to mark the birth of the Khalsa order in 1699 by the 10th master Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
