Hamas dissolves Gaza government, Gazans hope it'll push reconstruction

Hamas said on July 6 that it had dissolved its de facto government in Gaza and signalled it was ready to hand over to a group of Palestinian technocrats, as it presses Israel to honour other parts of a stalled US-backed peace plan in October last year.
The group's promise to end the body overseeing ministries — which has run for more than a decade — was a key part of the plan for a post-war Gaza.
And now Gazans hoped that it would push plans for reconstruction.
