Hasanah released from MACC’s custody

Former spy agency chief Datuk Hasanah Abdul Hamid has been released from Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) remand on Monday. Prosecutors from the anti-graft body had applied for her release, which was granted by magistrate Nik Muizzuddin Nik Muhammad. Hasanah’s passport has also been surrendered as she awaits for the authorities to call her in for further investigation.
