At a press conference on Friday, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the Health Ministry had not found any proof that Covid-19 infections at a glove company in Selangor might be caused by gloves that the company was making.
As of Friday noon, Malaysia recorded 1,109 new Covid-19 infections, bringing the cumulative total of cases to 61,861.
Some 1,148 patients were discharged from hospitals, making it the third day in a row where recoveries are more than new cases.
