Health DG: Young and healthy patient can still succumb to Covid-19

A young healthy person can be infected or succumb to Covid-19 even though the elderly and those with preexisting conditions are definitely more susceptible to coronavirus , says Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The Health director-general said that when asked about the 47-year-old Malaysian who succumbed to the virus a day earlier did not have any preexisting illnesses.
Dr Noor Hisham further explained that the patient who was in ICU for 46 days, died due to his blood clotting, resulting in multiple organ failure.
