Health Minister, deputy draw flak for missing question time in Dewan Rakyat

Opposition MPs criticised the absence of Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad and his deputy, Hanifah Hajar Taib, during Dewan Rakyat Question Time on Thursday (Nov 5), with Masjid Tanah MP Mas Ermieyati Samsudin calling it disrespectful.

The Health Ministry later explained that a last-minute postponement of the second question, after the asking MP arrived late, moved proceedings abruptly to the third without prior notice, leaving Hanifah unable to enter in time.

It said Dzulkefly was on official duty in Melaka.
