Health minister says anti-smoking law will be enforced this year

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said the anti-smoking bill, the Control of Tobacco Products for Public Health Act 2023 will be enforced once the related regulations under the act are approved.

He said it was approved by the Dewan Negara in December and was gazetted in February and is expected to be implemented in 2024.
