Health Ministry conducting surveillance in targeted communities to curb spread of Covid-19

To curb the spread of Covid-19, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says the ministry is conducting surveillance in targeted communities to identify asymptomatic patients.
Dr Noor Hisham said that on Friday, adding that the clinical surveillance system had been in place since Feb 12 at chosen clinics and hospitals under the Health Ministry.
The Health DG said surveillance acts as an early detection and early warning system for Covid-19, and this system allows the government to take Covid-19 preventative measures immediately.
