The Health Ministry is considering establishing a National Health Fund to enhance healthcare financing, says Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.
Speaking in the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday (July 17), the Health Minister stated that this initiative aims to reduce out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses and ensure more efficient healthcare spending.
Dzulkefly added that the ministry is currently reviewing the proposed reforms to the healthcare financing system, with an announcement expected soon.
