Health Ministry to study implementation of two shifts to ease congestion in govt clinics

The Health Ministry will study the implementation of two shifts for government clinics in the country to ease congestion, says Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The Health director-general said that there were issues regarding implementation that would need to be looked at before a two-shift system was put in place in health clinics – most notably being the lack of personnel.
Dr Noor Hisham, who was responding to a question by a reporter during his daily Covid-19 press conference at Putrajaya on Monday (June 15), adding however that the suggestion was a good one, adding that the ministry will discuss the matter with the relevant agencies.
