Herbal soup seller charged with making false report against cops

A herbal soup seller pleaded not guilty in the Kuala Lumpur magistrate’s court on Thursday (Aug 26) to a charge of making a false police report.

Muhammad Amar Zaid Muhammad Amir Lim, 21, was accused of lodging a false report to Lance Corporal Nuratikah Kafly, in which he alleged he had been extorted by three police officers.
