The George Town High Court acquitted and discharged 68-year-old Catherine Terblanche Millicent and her 37-year-old daughter Leilanie Calitz from a charge of trafficking 5.337kg of methamphetamine at the Penang International Airport in 2014.
The court ruled that the prosecution failed to prove a case against the duo and there were inconsistent statements given by the chemist.
