High Court orders Isa Samad to enter defence in Felda graft case

The Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday (June 16) ordered former Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad to enter his defence on nine graft charges of receiving RM3.09 million in relation to the purchase of the Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites in Kuching by Felda Investment Corp Sdn Bhd.
The court, however, acquitted him of the single criminal breach of trust (CBT) charge after finding the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case on the charge.
