Home Minister to address pressing issues at next Parliament sitting, says Fahmi

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail will address recent high-profile cases, including the death of Zara Qairina Mahathir and the assault on the son of former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli, when the Dewan Rakyat reconvenes on Monday (Aug 18), said Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

Speaking to reporters after the 20th Civil Service Premier Assembly on Friday (Aug 15), Fahmi, who is also the unity government spokesman, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had directed Saifuddin to take up the matter, underscoring the government’s firm stand against bullying following Cabinet discussions.
