Homegrown band’s music video depicting cultural diversity gets attention in music festival

Homegrown band, Culture Shot aka la la li la tam pong's music video where the band performed a Hokkien song titled 'Song of the Streets' while clad in traditional attire, has garnered attention recently for showcasing Malaysia's cultural diversity.
The song, originating from an old Hokkien folk song that one of the members heard growing up, was composed with local instruments and enhanced with added lyrics to pay homage to the popular local streets in George Town, Penang and their respective trades.
