Honda dealership fires staff over comment on Adib's death

A Honda Malaysia dealership staff was fired on the grounds of misconduct over her insensitive comment on social media regarding the death of firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim.
In a statement, Sri Utama Auto Sdn Bhd’s director Wong Chee Keong said Caryn Yean was “ found to have breached the company’s policy with her misconduct.”
The dealership had earlier suspended Caryn after her comment had gone viral and conducted an internal investigation on the matter.
