Hospitals to start admitting more non-Covid-19 patients

Hospitals will start admitting more non-Covid-19 patients in stages, says Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The Health director-general said that on Sunday, adding that the utilisation of wards designated for Covid-19 was less than 15% of capacity now but the ministry will still allocate at least 30% of their capacity for Covid-19.
Dr Noor Hisham added that the Health Ministry would also slowly reduce the number of staff members who had been re-deployed to states such as Kuala Lumpur or Selangor to handle Covid-19 cases.
