Hoteliers to brace for influx of Chinese, Indian tourists, says Tiong

Tourism, Arts, and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing has reminded local tourism stakeholders to prepare for an anticipated surge in tourist arrivals in Malaysia.
Speaking on Monday (Dec 4) after chairing the first organizational meeting for World Tourism Day 2025 and the World Tourism Conference 2025, the minister also noted proactive efforts to promote Malaysian tourism in China and India, leveraging the recent 30-day visa exemption offered to Chinese and Indian tourists.
