Ideas moulded by moral values key to Malaysia's future, says Anwar

Ideas grounded in strong principles and ethical values are key to unlocking Malaysia's potential as a just, prosperous, and progressive nation, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking at the Putrajaya Festival of Ideas (FOI) on Thursday, Anwar emphasised that while Malaysia has the capacity to develop and refine innovative ideas, their quality and underlying intent are crucial.

He underscored the importance of balancing tradition with progress, stressing that Malaysia must stay true to its identity, culture, language, and religious values while embracing advancements in fields such as mathematics, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy.
