IGP 'hurt', 'disappointed' by lack of integrity of cops involved in crime

A "drastic" shift in work culture and integrity is urgently needed within the police force, says Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.
Speaking at the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department's monthly assembly on Friday (Nov 15), the Inspector-General of Police expressed his disappointment and pain over instances where the trust placed in the police force has been exploited by individuals he described as selfish and dishonourable.
On enforcement efforts, Razarudin highlighted that the CCID had conducted 17,661 raids and operations, resulting in the arrests of 18,506 individuals.
