IGP: Malaysian govt looking at all angles to secure release of hostages

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun says the Malaysian government is working closely with authorities in the Philippines to secure the release of three hostages who were kidnapped last December.
The trio are identified as 24-year-old Jari Abdulla, 19-year-old Heri Ardiansyah and 45-year-old Hariadin.
They were kidnapped from their Sandakan based fishing trawler in the Pegasus reef waters in Kinabatangan close to the Tawi Tawi island chain in southern Philippines.
