IGP on his impromptu visits to police stations

Newly appointed Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador said his impromptu visits to police stations were to allow him to assess the welfare of his front-line personnel as well as receive feedback and complaints, such as the condition of their barracks.
He was speaking to reporters after the handover ceremony for deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Mazlan Mansor on Wednesday.
