Immigration Dept busts family-run fake ID syndicate

The Immigration Department has busted a family-run syndicate in Seri Kembangan, Kuala Lumpur that was raking in hundreds of thousands of ringgit a month by making fake identification cards. Immigration Department director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali said the team arrested 14 suspects and seized various machines used to make the fake Enforcement Cards (E-Cards) and Construction Industry Development Board Cards.
