Immigration raids illegal settlement built on government reserve land in Sentul

The Immigration Department raided an illegal settlement that was constructed on government reserve land near the Duke highway in Sentul late Monday (May 27).

Its director-general Datuk Ruslin Jusoh said the settlement comprised 20 to 30 units, housing 124 foreigners from Myanmar, India and Indonesia, who paid RM400 a month to a “landlord” said to be a local man.
