Indonesian police say 11 detained for "setting up" riot, as violence leaves six dead

Police said the deadly riot that erupted in central Jakarta was a "set up" incident on Wednesday after at least six people died in the civil unrest that gripped parts of the Indonesian capital.
National Police spokesman Muhammad Iqbal said at least 11 people were detained for provoking the riots and the authorities were checking on reports of casualties.
He stressed that security officers on the ground, which include military personnel, were not equipped with live bullets.
