Insufficient time given to mount an effective defence, claims Najib’s team

The defence in Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s SRC International case told the High Court on Tuesday that the former prime minister and the defence team were not given sufficient time by the court to mount an effective defence against the criminal charges Najib is facing.
Lead counsel of Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah told reporters that on the first day of the former prime minister taking the stand at his SRC International Sdn Bhd trial.
