Intanon motivated by rivals Marin, Tai, Sindhu to end long wait for Olympic medal

Thailand's former world champion Ratchanok Intanon said she is motivated by her rivals from her generation including Carolina Marin, Tai Tzu Ying and PV Sindhu in her own pursuit of Olympic medal. Marin, Tai and Sindhu all had won medals in the past two Olympic Games but Intanon is still searching for it.
Intanon lost to Putri Kusuma Wardani of Indonesia 19-21, 19-21 in the women's singles second round of the Malaysia Masters on Thursday (May 23).
