Integrity chief: Engagement with stakeholders ongoing regarding implementing Section 17A

Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed said discussions and briefings are ongoing especially commercial companies before the Section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act is enforced in June, 2020.
The National Centre for Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption (GIACC) director-general said this after the opening of the Anti-Corruption and Integrity Forum 2019 on Tuesday.
With the enforcement of Section 17A of the MACC Act, companies and their directors would be personally liable if an associated person such as an employee or subcontractor is caught for graft.
