Inter-state, inter-district travel bans may return to combat spike in Covid-19 cases

Inter-state and inter-district travel could be tightened to bring down the number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia, says Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.
Besides the tightening of travel restrictions, the ministry also advised the National Security Council to carry out more stringent enforcement on Covid-19 SOPs.
The minister said this after witnessing the handing over ceremony of upgrading project of a blood collection centre at Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor Baru on Saturday (Jan 9).
