Ipoh factory fire: Perak exco reminds parents to monitor their children

Parents have been urged to monitor their children’s activities, especially when they take up part-time jobs.
After visiting the relatives of the six victims killed in a fire at a shophouse in Meru, Ipoh on Wednesday, Perak education committee chairman Dr Abdul Aziz Bari said that there is a need for awareness, as children could be working in dangerous environments such as factories.
