Ipoh police inspector claims trial for bribery charge over gambling report

A 37-year-old police inspector pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court in Ipoh, Perak on Tuesday (Feb 16) for allegedly accepting bribe up to RM1,500 two years ago.
Firdaus Khalid was accused of asking RM1,000 to RM1,500 bribe from Woo Kin Soon, as an inducement to prepare a negative gambling report related to the investigation paper on June 24, 2019.
