Ismail on RM10,000 fine: Cabinet, NSC to be presented with details of offences

The Cabinet and the National Security Council (NSC) special meeting will be presented with the details of offences and the amount to be paid by offenders under the Emergency (Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Ordinance 2021, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“We are aware that the public is still confused about the issue of the RM10,000 compound despite the matter being explained time and again by the Inspector-General of Police as well as myself," said the Senior Minister in a press conference on Tuesday (March 16).

He added that because of this, details would be given on the offences and the amount to be paid.
