Ismail Sabri: 21 IPs opened against employers for not providing adequate accommodation for workers

Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri on Wednesday (Dec 2) said 21 investigation papers have been opened against employers that have failed to provide adequate accommodation for their workers as required under the Workers Standard of Housing and Amenities Act 1990.
He said the recent spike of Covid-19 cases among foreign workers was due to them living in cramped spaces.
