Ismail Sabri: All travellers within Malaysia need police permission under MCO

During a press conference on Saturday, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said regardless of the mode of travel, the standard operating procedures for travellers by air, road or sea remain unchanged and should only be done in dire emergencies, for example, attending to a sick relative.
"Even if they fly, they need to inform and get permission from the police,” he said, adding that those who wish to travel will need to get permission from the police before purchasing their tickets.
