Israel, Lebanon united in liberating Lebanon from Hezbollah, says envoy

The Lebanese government made it clear during US-brokered talks with Israel that they no longer want to be "occupied" by Hezbollah and that there were conversations about long-term vision for clearly delineated border, said Israel's ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter after the meeting on April 14.
The US State Department issued a statement that Israel and Lebanon have agreed to launch direct negotiations at a mutually agreed-upon time and place.
