Video footage showed Israeli forces opening fire on at least two Gaza-bound aid flotilla vessels on Tuesday (May 19), with Israel saying those were warning shots.

Ships from the flotilla had set sail for a third time from southern Turkey.

Participants hailed from 40 countries, aboard 50 vessels.
