Israeli strike kills World Cup screening organiser in Gaza just before kickoff

An Israeli strike in Gaza killed a Palestinian aid official who had helped organise public World Cup screenings, hours before Egypt's match against Argentina.

Three others died in the same attack, including two young brothers.

Separately, Israeli strikes and gunfire killed at least nine people across Gaza on Wednesday (July 8), among them two children.
