Japan issues safety advisory, Beijing urges Tokyo to retract Taiwan and threat remarks

The Japanese government has warned its citizens in China to step up safety precautions and avoid crowded places as a diplomatic spat between Beijing and Tokyo over Taiwan deepens.
This comes after Beijing told its citizens to stay away from Japan amid the spat where Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi told lawmakers recently that a Chinese attack on Taiwan threatening Japan's survival could trigger a military response.
