Japan says Belarusian sprinter is 'safe' in Tokyo

The International Olympic Committee said on Monday that Belarusian sprinter Krystsina Tsimanouskaya, who refused to board a flight after she said she was taken to the airport by her team against her wishes, is "safe and secure" in Tokyo. She has sought protection from Japan while she was participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games.
