Johor cops investigating 25-year-old for allegedly insulting Johor Royal family

The police have opened an investigation into a 25-year-old man from Batu Pahat after he allegedly posted an insulting remark on social media targeting a member of the Johor Royal family.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said that on Saturday (Feb 6), adding that the police have received four police reports against the man related to his posts on social media.
Comm Ayob also reminded the public not to use social media to spread such remarks and that the police would not hesitate to take actions.
