Johor govt allocates RM3mil in state budget to help Covid-19 orphans

The Johor government has allocated RM3mil to help about 1,000 children who have lost their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said during the unveiling of the state Budget 2022 on Thursday (Nov 18) that each child would receive a one-off payment of between RM2,500 and RM5,000 which would be deposited into their National Education Savings Scheme.
