Johor polls: Johor Muda chief gets RM1,000 fine for fist bump

Azrol Rahani, who is the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) candidate for the Bukit Permai seat in the Johor election, was slapped with a RM1,000 compound for giving a fist-bump to a supporter on nomination day on Saturday (Feb 26).
However, his campaign manager Amos Thien said it was unfair for Azrol to receive the compound as the offence was not listed in the list of standard operating procedures that were given by the authorities.
