Johor still needs treated water from S'pore, Dewan Rakyat hears

Johor still relies on treated water from Singapore due to the rapid expansion of its industrial sector, says the Deputy Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister.

He added that Johor continues to benefit from the existing agreement, as purchasing treated water from Singapore remains more cost-effective than processing it domestically.
