Joint exercise with Canada is vital training to fight terror threats, says Army No 2

The Armed Forces hopes cooperation with the Canadian Army under Exercise Mantis will continue, with the aim of increasing alertness and competency levels in fighting terrorism.
Deputy Army chief Lt-Gen Datuk Seri Muhammad Ab Rahman said at the closing of Exercise Mantis Series 9/2023 at the Terendak Army Camp on Monday (March 20) that the bilateral exercise began in 2015 and had been an effective platform to test and train soldiers in handling terrorist situations.
