Kg Sungai Baru land issue to be discussed in Parliament Special Chambers

A motion for the proposed redevelopment in Kampung Sungai Baru by private developers to be debated in the Dewan Rakyat’s Special Chambers has been allowed on Monday (Dec 13).
Khalid Abdul Samad (PH-Shah Alam) said he had filed a motion under Standing Order 18(1) and 18(2) for it to be debated in the House, adding that the matter involves public interest as it involves Kampung Sungai Baru landowners who have owned and stayed on the land for several generations.
