Khairy: Govt projecting private practitioners to give 145,000 jabs daily by July

The government is projecting that private medical practitioners roped in for the national vaccination programme will be able to carry out 145,000 inoculations a day by July.
National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin said as of June 11, a total of 430,219 out of 4,227,550 doses were administered by private medical practitioners registered under Protect Health.
This is equivalent to 10.2% of the vaccinations that have been done.
