Khairy: National Covid-19 Immunisation Program to start two days ahead of schedule

The National Covid-19 Immunisation Program will begin two days ahead of schedule on Wednesday (Feb 24).
Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced that at a press conference in KLIA following the arrival of the first batch of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines on Sunday (Feb 21), adding that Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will be the first to receive the vaccine in Putrajaya after chairing the Cabinet meeting this Wednesday (Feb 24).
Khairy added that the first batch of vaccines would be distributed to 16 storage centres on Sunday- four in Johor, two in Penang, six in Selangor, three in Kuala Lumpur and one in Putrajaya.
