Khairy says no longer using “herd immunity” as Covid-19 will likely become endemic

Coordinating minister for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme Khairy Jamaluddin says he no longer using the term “herd immunity” as Covid-19 may stay around for quite some time.
Speaking at a webinar organised by The Oxford & Cambridge Society Malaysia, he also said that if the mutation continued to be aggressive and stubborn, and Covid became endemic, the government would need to have a procurement strategy.
