King: Hold GE15 soonest, as monsoon season is close

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has expressed his disappointment over the current political situation and said he had no option but to consent to the dissolution of Parliament so that the mandate to choose the government would be returned to the people.
The King conveyed his message in a statement on Monday (Oct 10) issued by Comptroller of the Royal Household Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin soon after Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced the dissolution of Parliament, and expressed the hope that the Election Commission will conduct the general election in the near future, taking into account the northeast monsoon season expected to start in mid-November.
